Using CAD/CAM programming systems means providing efficient - complex and cost effective programmes can be written off-line quickly, for the wide range of modern multi type computer numerical control (CNC) machining centres. Having the capacity for up to 4 axis in our CNC mills gives us the flexibility to machine parts in the most efficient way possible. Having the ability to programme ‘off-line’ means the CNC machine tools can be fully utilised in manufacturing with little or no real down time. Programmes can be refined and simulated within the programming room to ensure the most efficient programme and to ensure ‘Right first time'. CNC and Manual Turning
Whether using a CAD/CAM based system or machine based controls to program complex turnings - our team works with you to provide you the solutions from our large turning capabilities - up to 60" (1,500mm) in diameter by 26 feet (8,000mm) in length - or the use of our smaller multi axis CNC mill/turn lathes that can drill and mill in almost any plane from one set up. Deep Hole Drilling
As Tesla Machining has progressed, the need for quality deep hole drilling and boring was realized. We have since updated our machining services to include deep hole machining from 1.0-in up to 6-in in diameter and 80-in deep with a weight capacity up to 6 ton. We can also bore larger diameters upto 60" deep. These parts range from square blocks to long shafts. With our rotary table we are able to minimize set time which saves our customers time and money.
